Web Accessibility

Mossley Town Council have tested this website to work across a wide range of browsers and operating systems.
In doing this we endeavour to ensure that the website conforms to the highest possible levels of accessibility in respect of coding, plain language, navigation and user experience to ensure that we are accessible to as many people as possible.

Navigating the Website

Navigation - all related links are displayed in the navigation bar on the left hand side of every page.

All external links will open in a new browser window.

This website can be viewed using most popular browsers and screen resolutions.

Upgrading browsers

We would recommend upgrading your browser as far as your computer allows. Later versions of browsers often have higher levels of security and better functions.

Most browser suppliers will allow you to upgrade for free. Visit the website for your browser to find out about the latest versions and to download them. Browser downloads can be very large; many browsers are also available on CDs such as those distributed by computer magazines.
