The Mossley Business Network is now in its second year of connecting businesses in and around the Mossley area. The Network aims to create awareness of Mossley and Saddleworth businesses and generate interest in the community and its businesses.
The second year is proving to be a success with lots of changes planned; the first changes have been to the steering group with the Chairperson, Melanie Anderson stepping down after a successful year of running the Mossley Business Network. The new Chairperson is the former Secretary Ashley Ault from Red Noise Media, with the new Secretary position being taken on by Rachel Wayte from InHarmony Therapies. Sue Willett, NW Secretarial has remained as Treasurer and Jamie Brennan, Red Noise Media and Jo Bennett from Dawn Consult have both remained as committee members.
The Network also has new meeting venue for the next four months, the Church Inn Pub on Stockport Road, and the group are currently having a new website designed.
The upcoming networking event is on Wednesday 19 September, 6pm-8pm at the Church Inn, Stockport Road, Mossley. All businesses from Mossley, Saddleworth and Tameside are welcome. It costs £5 for members and £10 for non-members (buffet dinner and a guest speaker included).
