| Boom Ting | Introduction to music for babies and young children. Classes run in term time, every Friday morning at Saddleworth Museum. 10:15-11am for children ages 1-4 and 11:30-12pm for babies up to 18 months. The cost is £3 per child and £1 for siblings. | Pennine Art Gallery | Run by Chris Cyprus who represents other artists at the now titled Pennine Art Gallery, 3rd floor, Woodend Mill. All concentrate on local Pennine themes. |
| Chit Chat Club | Social club for the over sixties. Meets on the 2nd Sunday of every month at the Methodist Church on Market Place from 2.15pm to 4.15pm. Their activities include day trips, talks from community groups, quizzes, sing-songs, flower arranging, armchair exercises and general social get-togethers. Contact Father Lindsay on 01457 832 219. |
| Emmaus Mossley | Emmaus offer a home and work to previously homeless and unemployed people. The project finances itself by collecting and selling donated goods such as furniture, bric-a-brac, antiques, electrical appliances, clothing, books, toys, etc. These are sold at the Mossley premises. | Friends of Mossley Park | Executive meetings are held on the third Thursday of each Month, 7:00 pm at the Butchers Arms, Top Mossley. All are welcome to attend. For further details contact the Secretary, Mr Paul Dowthwaite on 01457 837 124. Monthly gardening sessions – held on the last Saturday and preceeding Wednesday of the month. Meet at Mossley Hall, Stamford Road, 10am til 12pm. All welcome. We carry out maintainence, plant flower beds and litter pick. The group has entered the Park in North West In Bloom it’s your neighbourhood for two years. Picnic in the Park – Yearly event usually in May. It’s a Knock Out – Yearly event on the first weekend of October. |

| Mossley Action for the Elderly | Lunch club for older people. The lunch club meets every Tuesday at the George Lawton Hall from 12pm. A two course homemade dinner and tea/coffee costs £2. Pre booking is required as they have capacity of 56 diners. Contact Gina Smith to book on 839 641. |

| Mossley Methodist Church Community Day Centre | The group meets on Wednesdays 9.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. It is aimed at people living alone to come and enjoy a chat, lunch, activities and entertainment.
