Event: Health and Wellbeing Open Day

Venue: Body & Mind Centre, 16 Arundel Street, Mossley, OL5 0LS
The day is designed to give people the opportunity to learn more about complementary therapies and ways in which they can manage their own health and well-being. We will be holding a programme of free talks and demonstrations on subjects ranging from Nutrition, Herbal Medicine, Shiatsu and Kinesiology. People will also have the opportunity to enjoy taster sessions, in exchange for a donation to charity, giving them the opportunity of experiencing massage, reflexology, reiki and scenar therapies amongst others. The day is being held in aid of Cancer Research UK. Also on hand will be the Relay for Life team who will be offering people the opportunity to dedicate a Candle of Hope to a loved one, which will then be lit during the Candle of Hope ceremony at the Relay for Life in Ashton at the end of July.
