Mossley is set to host an international festival of arts and music this October.
Mosley’s twin town is Hem in France and artists from there as well as Hem’s twin town of Wiehl in Germany will be converging on the town for a four day festival from October 8th to 11th.
They will be exhibiting and performing in the George Lawton hall and Woodend Mills will be having an open studio’s weekend where over 30 artists will be throwing open their doors to the public.
Gordon Clegg who is coordinating the artists for the festival said, this is going to be the biggest cultural event in the town in living memory, with well over 50 artists and musicians taking part it will be three days that everybody in Mossley can be justly proud of.
