Fund Raising Success for Childflight

David and Jackie Skeldon raised £300 for Childflight. £180 was taken as sponsorship for taking part in the Manchester 10k run and the balance of £120 was raised from fund raising events at their home. Congratulations to David and Jackie, their efforts means that more children will be able to visit Santa at the North Pole later this year.

Twinning News

A party six members from the Twinning Committee and 14 members from Oldham Athletic Girls' Football team went to Weihl near Cologne on the weekend of May 30th to June 2nd. I understand that they had a great time and were made very welcome.

Hopefully this will promote further contact and extend Mossley's connections in Europe
