"Mossley Children to go on Santa Flight

Mossley Town Council are once again taking a group of children from Mossley Primary schools on the Santa Flight from Manchester Airport on Monday Dec 11th.

This will be the third year that we have been fortunate enough to be allocated tickets for the flight which is organized by Child Flight a registered charity which provides flights and holidays for sick and disadvantaged children.

The schools taking part this year are Micklehurst All Saints, Livingstone and St George's. Five specially chosen children are going from each school plus helpers, with New Charter kindly offering to pay for the transport on the day.

In May 2006 three ladies from Mossley took part in the Greater Manchester Run and raised a total of £690 for the this charity.
