Elected to Mossley Town Council - May 2003.
Elected to represent Mossley Ward as an Independent Councillor on Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council - May 2006.
I first became involved with the community by helping to form a Residents' Association, acting as their secretary and subsequently was asked to be the secretary to the Mayor.
I am an Independent Councillor, representing Mossley Town Council Steering Committee.
Having been born in Mossley I know how unique it is, in both location and community, and we must strive to keep alive our traditions whilst effecting changes that will benefit all of the community.
