The councillors have been pleased that the Town Council has had a web presence for many years. It was always the intention that the site be a hub for community information and events, not only for council business.
With this in mind, the time was appropriate to redesign the site to be more participatory.
This website has a greater focus on community news and users can submit their own community news for sharing.
The website also has an events calendar and a form for submitting events to it.
