I am 54 years of age and married with two children. We have lived in Mossley for nearly 19 years.
I have served my community in several ways, as a school governor for 15 years, 10 years as Chairman of Governors and, since 1999, have been an Independent Councillor on Mossley Town Council.
I was Chair of the Council for nearly two years and in 2004/05, had the honour of being chosen as Town Mayor.
I also represent Mossley Town Council on the Standards Committee in Tameside, along with being the secretary of the James Kenworthy Trust for the Blind in Mossley.
I strongly believe in accessible local services, with local accountability.
